Back in 2018, my SW London Edwardian semi-detached house was renovated from top to bottom. We'd moved in the previous year and lived in what felt like a very dusty museum for several months before embarking on the work.

Today I am writing about the influence of the natural world in interior design. In my own work, biophilic design (incorporating nature into our indoor environment) plays a significant role.

Thanks to Julia for sending in photos of her in-progress living room (above). This is a 1905, Edwardian home and Julia wants to create a 'cosy, timeless room that celebrates craftsmanship, light and everyday comfort'. She has been restoring it with an Arts and Crafts influence (as you can see in the beautiful ceiling rose).
